This course provides vital information for a “quick start” in understanding what a valve is and how it works. This provides a usable groundwork for maintenance technicians, trades people, operators and junior engineers. This course promotes awareness through the understanding of flow control principles, associated components, and the basic challenges that can be faced when working with flow control applications on site.
This course is suited to anybody looking for a basic introduction to valves including (but not limited to) maintenance technicians, trades people,operators and junior engineers.
Note:There are no prerequisites for this course.
This course looks at the more common valve types, how they work and the components they are made up of. We will also discuss the different applications they are suited for and the advantages and disadvantages of one design against another.
Upon successful completion of the course, Winnellie Valve & Process will issue a certificate of acknowledgement to the participant, stating the course name and other relevant details. Please note that whilst we trust you will find value in learning more about valves with us please note this course is not nationally recognised.
