Knife Gate valves are the preferred valve for isolation/shutoff in the pulp and paper industry for applications where other valve designs would simply not seal, particularly in stock preparation.
Winnellie Valve and Process were approached by one of Australia’s largest paper mills to supply various knife gate for a pulp / liquor application. We specified stainless steel, uni-directional, knife gate valves with glass reinforced PTFE seats they offer longevity in these applications.
We supply these valves from our Darwin, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide warehouses in order to service our pulp and paper clients who have sites all over Australia.
Our Valve training packages are run by our Valve and Process Manager Iain Garvin. With a passion to share his 30+ years technical experience across a wide range of applications Iain has developed basic training courses for entry level students explaining valve types and their basic functions, right through to complex severe service valve applications. All courses include practical examples from Iain’s experience and relevant case studies ensuring you are gain the maximum benefit. There is also time for a QA session at the end of each session.
